I have a list with usernames and emails and I need to import them to internal database. The first idea is to use custom SQL inserts, but it is quite heavy.

I think i going to generate random password and all users should use Forgot Password function in order to set proper password.

My questions is:

Maybe I can use model class or other class outside framework where User object with permissions would be inserted together?
Can I do it easier by developing a plugin?

This week i have to create 50 admin user, i do it manually (to have the mail sended ) … You can surely create a plugin for this BUT : you use it one time …
