Hi All,
I am trying to import a survey template in .lSS but encountered the following error message.
I tried importing via the GUI and the survey was imported successfully.

Are there any ways to know what structure issue are in the XML file?

{"id":1,"result":{"status":"Error: This is not a valid LimeSurvey survey structure XML file."},"error":null}

Regards

I re-do the whole survey one by one... re-importing each time after creating new questions....
Suspecting that the cause is the html widget generating some special char which cause the problem...

I ran into the same error even using the sample survey downloaded from LimeSurvey.

Could you share your code using API?

I found the solution. It works with PHP. With Python, need an extra line of decode("utf-8").
