HTML in response emails was created by bodonne2
Prior to updating from 2.6 -> 3.21 the {ANSWERTABLE} section in admin response emails was coming through as a nicely formatted HTML table. Since the upgrade, it's now plain-text. I can't find an option to control this in the survey settings or the global configuration. Are HTML emails no longer possible?
Any help is appreciated.

Which template/theme are you using? I assume it is a HTML/CSS issue in the template.

We're using a customized theme inherited from bootswatch.

And like Tpartner, provide a screenshot how it looked before (as you had it) and how it looks now and what you are missing. Maybe it is just the formatting via CSS that is missing, because according to Tpartner the html table structure is there.

Try with one of the standard themes that come with Limesurvey and see what happens. We're using a customized theme inherited from bootswatch.

Hmm.. it looks like it is actually HTML, it just doesn't have the styling that it used to. I tried switching to bootwatch and fruity and the output is the same. Can anyone point me to the documentation on how to modify this? The email source doesn't reference any css files.

Looking at Tpartners screenshot, there are CSS classes, but there is no CSS file referenced.
Also, I miss a head tag, a body tag, etc.
So I guess it is your responsibility to create your email template with the relevant code and include the respective CSS like in a normal HTML page, I guess. Let's see what Tpartner says, he has more experience with that stuff.
