Hello everyone.

I upgrade limesurvey software to 4.X. Now when I try to upload image to welcome page the error message appear:
Attach an image


Can anyone help what I miss when I upgrade or figure out the issue?

Information about our server:
Server Windows Server 2008 R2
Web Server: IIS 7.5
PHP version: 7.3

I recommend to open a bugreport. LS4 still contains many bugs.
What LimeSurvey version is used? The exact version is needed.
You might just need an update to solve the issue.

Your OS "Windows Server 2008 R2" is EOL. You won't receive any updates for this Server OS. And your Windows Server is a public webserver.

You must upgrade your version 4.0.0 is out of date.
There are a lot of bug fix.

Hi,
I suppose you are trying to add the image directly into the welcome page in "Survey settings / Text elements"
Either by "Insert image" or "Select image from server".

If you do it by "Insert image" you should see this line in your source code (but I know, this doesn't seem to work).
<figure class="image"><img src="/limesurvey_installation_Name/upload/surveys/123456//myImage.jpg"></figure>

So, what happens, if you enter this manually with any image on your server, like:
<figure class="image"><img src=" www.myServer.com/path_to_Image/myImage.jpg ">
With or without the surrounding <figure> tag.

I tested both in version 4.1.4. and didn't see any issue.
