Multiple Numerical Input Slider - Right slider label vanishes on small screen was created by Foodenthusiast
Dear Limesurvey-friends,
I am trying to use the slider from the Multiple Numerical Input question type in a way as pictured in the first screenshot. It all works fine, but when we test it on a small screen (screenshot 2) the right slider label vanishes.
From researching on an old post here , I understand that this is probably due to the fact that the label on the right side slides under the slider and the bar below is in the way so it consequently "vanishes". I have tried to use the remedy suggested in the forum post, but it only messed up the slider completely. Maybe this is due to the fact that it is a different slider type or an older LS version. I would try to edit the code in theme.css myself, but understand too little of how it exactly works and playing around with it did not get me anywhere.
Do you think this can be solved by having both labels move above the slider on a small screen somehow as in the previous post or do you have a different suggestion on how the question can look nice and be intuitively answered? I really do not want to move away from a slider, because it's much more user-friendly than other solutions.
Thank you so much for any suggestions and a happy upcoming weekend!

Can you provide a LSS export with just your slider question and your settings?
The theme you use looks modified and might based on an older theme.
The meaning of the word "stable" for users

Did you try with a newer version under a default theme (e.g. via demo here)?Foodenthusiast wrote: LimeSurvey Version: 3.12.2+180625

It's done via a little js solution.
1. Can you check with vanilla core theme .
2. Can you send a sample link with your theme and only one slider question (maybe someone can found the issue).
Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member, professional service on demand , plugin development .
I don't answer to private message.

In 3.X default theme : the right part is at top rigth (and left part at top left).Foodenthusiast wrote: Do you think this can be solved by having both labels move above the slider on a small screen

Hi everyone!
First of all thank you very much for your quick replies, really impressive!
I did solve the problem and you helped me figure out where to look. It was actually not the theme or LS version. The problem was that I had used the strong command like this:
<strong>| Difficile à trouver | Difficile de les manquer</strong>
After correcting to
| <strong>Difficile à trouver</strong> | <strong>Difficile de les manquer</strong>
The problem appears to be solved completely!
Thank you for your help, I am happy now .
