I am using LS 3.something. (hosted Pro Version)

Somehow the background-image does not work.
Is there a known bug with the background image or is it me?

What background image. Can you please be more specific and tell us what you have tried?

the image I try to use is a simple jpg file with 49 KB.

the help file ( manual.limesurvey.org/Theme_options ) says:
"Background image: If set to no, you may select a different background image from the one used within your survey group and/or global theme settings. You may also upload a personalised survey background image by clicking on the upload button located in the bottom of the theme settings panel and selecting the desired image from your computer;"

When I set the bg-image-switch to no, then firstly the name field is greyed out.
I then have to save in order for the name field to become editable again.
Then I can pick the image, I want, from the list.

1) If "no" actually means that I can use my own custom bg-image, then I would not expected that the name field gets greyed out as an immediate reaction of setting it to "no".
2) When the switch is on "yes" (meaning - according to the info in the help file - that the "the one used within your survey group and/or global theme settings" will be used) I'd expect the name field to be greyed out. However, it is even more willing to be used, than if I select "no".
3) I set it to "no" and selected my jpg file. But it is not displayed anywhere or anyhow in the survey. (But also with "yes" the chosen image file is not displayed in the survey.)

BTW, I am using the German UI.

I also want to say that I really like LimeSurvey! Thx for all of you working for that tool!
