On the last Version 2.72.5+171121, the buttons "Save" and "Save and close" when adding/editing a question do not work. No new questions can be added, neither the "example" question can be edited, although the instructions described in the manual have been followed carefully. Perhaps this is because no buttons to add the default answers are shown in the add-new-question screen (as expected).

I cannot reproduce the problem with the latest version. Do you have any JavaScript errors in the console?

No error messages received. I already uninstalled LimeSurvey and installed it again from scratch. Although it started working normally and even added some questions, at some point, for some unclear reason, it repeated the same.

I unistalled it (again) and re-installed again, after I cleared all files and the database created. It keeps not responding. It created a new research and a group of questions, but when it comes to save a question, the buttons do not respond.

I really regret updating. The older version (1.95) worked fine. Can I get it from somewhere please?

Ideally, you should stay with the current version but you can get the 2.06 LTS version here - github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/tree/2.06lts

(this is similar to 1.95 but with better features and security)

I am glad to announce that after several experiments I managed to figure out the problem: my site uses certificates (it's https) and in the previous version of LimeSurvey the "Force HTTPS" setting was "on". So, I thought that in this version the same seeting should be used.

Anyway, I repeated the experiment several times changing it and the problem was finally solved by setting "Force HTTPS" to "Don't force on/off".

All of a sudden, the problem reappeared. I did not make any changes to the global settings, yet the buttons to save/save and close questions stopped responding.

I would appreciate any ideas on how to cope with this.
