I did not see anything remotely close to what i looking for. I am wondering if a Limesurvey questionnaire can be display in a series of Modal POP up window. If anyone could point me in the right direction, i would greatly be appreciated. thank you.

So you mean it should be displayed in a layer on another website? Only within an iframe, I don't see an other solution for this.

Would like the survey to display in the same website but if that is not possible i could live with that.

I am looking to display the survey in some form similar to ctools www.drupal.org/project/modal_forms

You will need place the survey in an iframe in the modal dialog on your site. (that's not a LimeSurvey issue but more a web development issue on your site)
