Thanks for the reply. I tried exactly this, but it does still show up as the title.
These are my slider labels:
|komme ich zu nichts|kann ich Dinge tun, für die ich sonst keine Zeit habe

Hi,

with these settings - as Tony said already

I see the following slider

Without seeing anything of your settings it is difficult to say more.

Or did you enter your labels here?

Here you only define the character that separates subquestion, left label, right label.
E.g. If your label contains this pipe-symbol "|" by chance, you may select a different character.

Or did you change this character for some reason?

It is difficult to diagnose the problem with virtually no details. Can you provide your LimeSurvey version and attach an export (.lss file) of a small sample survey containing only that question.

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did not change the slider settings, I am still using "|" as a separator. I am seeing the slider as well, but the title won't disappear: "|komme ich zu nichts|kann ich Dinge tun, für die ich sonst keine Zeit habe".

Attached is the question file.
Version 4.1.13+200325

Thank you!

I don't have time to create surveys to import .lsq files. Can you please attach a .lss file as requested?

Cheers,
Tony Partner

Hm, your question export didn't contain any subquestions nor min / max settings of the slider.

With these settings I get this:

Of course it is a bug, that this subquestion text is shown.
By the way: The slider function in 4.x. seems to be buggy. At the moment there are several threads about that.

And we always recommend to use the 3.22 LTS for production.

And this kind of question you could ask as well with a question of type array ("Semantic differential").
I do not think your slider has a scale 0-100.

Now some words to our request of a lss export.
lsq = question exports
lsg = group exports
are language sensitive.
You can't import a question (or a group) that was created with base language "english" into a survey with base language "French".
So we have to guess what is the language of the lss survey export, create a survey with that base language, only to be able to import your question.
Furthermore, only a lss export contains other survey settings that may be useful or even important to find your problem.
And last but not least, you should ease our work that we all do in our spare time.

Thank you very much for your help! It worked changing the settings. I was not aware of the different formats of the export, and will keep it in mind for the future.

Thanks again
