I changed a question from multiple choice to a drop down but now a text display later in the survey is not showing what the user selected. What does the Q4_1shown need to change to?

This is because you changed from a question with multiple choice to a question that allows only one choice (drop down).

So the responses to the multiple-choice question are subquestions that show 'Y' if ticked and nothing if not ticked. this way you have to address every single subquestion (Q4_1, Q4_2, etc.).

The new question will have only one possible response, so you just need to use Q4 to address it and it will show the answer that was chosen.

So your code should probably be something like Q4.shown

Q4.shown works but unlike Q4_1.shown, it shows the answer no matter what it is. I need to be able to only show if they selected options 1-4, if they selection 5-6 I don't want to show the answer.
