At the beginning of my survey, I select the phone number I'm calling a participant at (Code = Phone)

At the end of my survey, I have an optional contest entry question using Multiple short text type question (Code = Contest).

One of those sub-questions is Phone Number (Code : PhContest).

I'd like to pre-populate PhContest with the number I selected in the first question (Phone).

How can I do this?

You can enter {Phone} into a default answer field of the Multiple short text question.

Or, depending on the question type, maybe {Phone.shown}.
