Geo-location and location categories was created by sociotech
I have a problem generating location categories from coordinates.
I use the short text map feature in order to get geo location. The field is hidden and the geo-coordinate input comes from panel integration and is passed through the URL. This works fine.
I have set the map to save City, state and country but when I check my SQL database it is only the coordinates that are saved. I don't know what I am doing wrong and can't seem to find a post on it.
I am on a self-hosted system and LimeSurvey that runs the latest version.
I very much hope somebody here can help!

How have you hidden that question?
Can you attach a short sample survey containing only the relevant questions?

I have just set the hidden and save as city, state and country in the question preferences.
It looks like this:

Try hiding the question with CSS instead of the question setting. The mapping is done via JavaScript so the question must be rendered.
There still may be a bug but I cannot test without the sample survey requested.

I have now tried to unhide the question in order to see if it made any difference. It sadly did not. Even if I use the location picker manually I do not get any of the location categories saved.
But my issues seem to run deeper than that. Earlier I have created score calculations based on my main subquestions. These equations have also stopped working.
I feel a bit bug-ridden so I have attached my .lss file. I very much hope someone can determine what I am doing wrong.

Are there any Javascript errors in the console?
