Adding Facebook Tracking Pixel and event to survey was created by vadikcoma
Hello, what would be the correct way and which templates do I have to edit, in order to add Facebook Tracking Pixel
<!-- Facebook Pixel Code -->
<script>
!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)
{if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};
if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';
n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script',
' connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js ');
fbq('init', '*********************');
fbq('track', 'PageView');
</script>
<noscript><img height="1" width="1" style="display:none"
src=" www.facebook.com/tr?id=*****************...=PageView&noscript=1 "
/></noscript>
<!-- End Facebook Pixel Code -->
And "Complete Registration Event" which, I assume, should be placed on "Thank you" page
<script>
fbq('track', 'CompleteRegistration');
</script>
Thank you!

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
of course I do not know the regulations in Latvia.
But e.g. in Germany the respondent has to agree to this kind of being tracked.
Personally I do not support facebook and other similar stuff.

Place the first script in startpage.pstpl, right before the closing </head> tag.
Place the second script at the end of completed.pstpl.
Place the second script at the end of completed.pstpl.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

And yet: With the "General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)" in place soon (and Latvia is part of the European Union, afaik), I would do some digging regarding this integration. You might run into some severe trouble as soon as this is officially enforcable (May 25th 2018). I am not an expert on this, but whenever there is Facebook and Tracking envolved I would pay special attention.
