I saw here that we can use manual.limesurvey.org/QS:Time_limit/enCountdown timer for ListRadio and TextDisplay questions.

But is it possisble to do that on a Group? For instance, I have a group of ListRadio questions [like a quiz] in a particular section and I would like a CountDown timer for that particular group and not individual questions. Am thinking of a group by group format of quiz but question by question is also okay.

Eg: Am creating a quiz with the following groups

Math
Grammar
Comprehension

and i need a timer for each group (and not the questions) in the quiz/survey.

What if you put a text display question with a timer at the end of each group?

Just to add the remark from the manual:

The timer attributes work best with surveys displayed in "Question by question" mode. It is possible to use them in "Group by group" mode, but can break survey with mandatory question.

Which means that it depends on the quiz requirements and the questions in each group.

There are no mandatory questions in any group as it is a test.
