Personalized question index

Personalized question index was created by mcovents
I'm using the question index to jump to other questions in the survey.
However I don't want an index of all questions since I have alot of questions.
Instead I would like to create a limited list of items to navigate through the survey.
Is it possible to create a personalized index?

In LS3 you'll can do it here by adding conditions:
github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/de...tion_index_menu.twig

In LS 2.x I think you must do it in JavaScript
