HowTo: One User with Multiple Saved Surveys? was created by limeAJ
Hello,
I want to use a survey, so a Supervisor can "evaluate" various of his employees.
The Save Survey and continue Later feature is working superb.
Yet, I need some feedback on the "workflow".
First, the Supervisor is going to prepare all his evaluations in one sitting. At a later date, he will meet with his employees, and "retrieve" the evaluation via the emailed link. The evaluation of that employee will then be finished and submitted.
My problem is: If the Supervisor prepares the first evaluation (by answering the survey), and clicks on "Save for Later".
He receives the email with the link and instructions to "pick-up" the saved survey.
Yet now, if he reloads the browser window, all the answers are persistent.
So he can't prepare the second evaluation (survey).
I am reading this Tokens information in the Manual , and performing some tests with different settings... yet I am still unable to "close" a survey and "start fresh" a new one.
Any suggestions on what can be done?
Maybe a different way of doing things? Or a different "workflow"?
Thank you!

Hello,
Touching base in this topic.
I have searched, yet... not sure if LimeSurvey is saving a cookie for each session?
Any idea what I could check/modify in order to set this up?
Thank you!

Hello,
I performed some tests, yet I'm still not getting the desired functionality.
Is there a way were a user can prepare a Survey, then Save for Later.
Then that same user, open the same Survey, give different answers, and once again Save for Later.
Is this possible?
I just did four tests, while playing with the settings for Tokens:
I went into: Survey settings --> Tokens --> Then changed:::
Enable token-based response persistence: on/off
Allow multiple responses or update responses with one token: on/off
The tests were:
#1 off-off
#2 on-off
#3 on-on
#4 off-on
When I did all these tests, after using the "Save for Later" functionality, everything worked (the survey answers were saved for later). Yet if I visit the Survey url, the answers where loaded once again.
Is there an "Exit" without "Exit and discard changes"?
Thank you!

Alright!
I think I have progress!
I was using the "Survey URL" shown on the image below.
Yet I clicked on the top-menu, on the "Execute survey" button.
That url is similar, yet has a "/newtest/" parameter.
Apparently, that's doing it.
Creating a new survey session on each call.
Will test out further and report back.
