Change radio array to button group was created by ne00
Hi all,
I have an array question setup with sub questions and predefined answers of "ok" and "not ok". it is showing as a radio button group. I would like to change this so it shows up as a button group. So it is easier for users to be able to press an answer on their mobile phones when the survey is live with offline surveys.
How do I do this in the simplest way?
Many thanks in advance
Neo

When talking about accessing survey online via a mobile browser the impact of the template can be huge. Often questions are rearranged and buttons are bigger so that radiobuttons will work.
But since you're talking about offlinesurvey it might be up to app.

What is offline surveys? Is that a new feature by LimeSurvey? I'm only aware of a android app for offlinesurveys in combination with LimeSurvey.ne00 wrote: be able to press an answer on their mobile phones when the survey is live with offline surveys.

I suggest you contact the vendor of the app directly. It is not a LimeSurvey product.

ok chaps,
well, it's more of a generic question related to limesurvey. So, let me ask the same question in a slightly different way.
How can I get a yes/no button type question, but for 3 buttons and change the text on the buttons?
thanks all, really appreciate your kind help

Well, you are on the right way: You need to check how the yes/no questions has been formated in CSS/HTML/Javascript or whatever is used to make it look the way it looks, then apply this to your array. As I don't know how this was formated I can't tell if it is even possible, but I guess the YES/NO questions is just reformated by CSS. I assume it is a template thing.
