Hi,

Is it possible for me to enable some form of login page for survey participants to use? To force authentication before the participants sees the survey and to map the response to that particular respondent. I know about tokens and was wondering if there were any built in or addins that had this feature.

There is an "Allow public registration" setting in tokens - manual.limesurvey.org/Survey_settings#Tokens

Is it possible to have the self registration form authenticate based on a list of usernames and passwords? Like have the user a pre-assigned user ID and password before the software generates their token?

Not within LimeSurvey. You would need an external file/application to do that and then, perhaps, use the Remote Control API to generate the token and deliver a survey link or redirect.

If you know who is in your population, you can add all users to a token table and invite them to your survey. That way no people from outside you population can join. Is that what you mean?
