Hi,

I set up a Limesurvey server on Ubuntu. I activated the LDAP plugin in order to allow people from my institute to authenticate with their Active Directory account. It works, but under conditions:
1) the username is case sensitive. If I create an account through ldap and username is registered as Dummy.Fake@domain.com, user must login using Dummy.Fake@domain.com and not lowercase dummy.fake@domain.com. This topic has already been discussed, but I find it weird that you need to use appropriate case
2) I set permissions for some users to create user accounts. They can create users. But these users are not able to authenticate (system says that username and/or password is not valid). If I delete these users and create them again as user 1 (admin) they are able to authenticate. I did it for 3 users. Apparently the only difference in the database table Users is the value in the column parent_id. Are there some additional info saved elsewhere?

Pierre
