PASSTHRU version 3.0 was created by stephanied
I've recently upgraded to version 3.0 from 2.73.1 which has made the panel integration not work. I've looked around the forums and it seems like others are having this issue. It looks like a bug was recently reported about this: bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=13903 for closed surveys (which I am currently using). But when I try an open survey the parameter still does not work. Am I missing something or is there really a bug?

I have a question at the beginning of the survey that is supposed to read the id from the start URL, but I cannot get it to work.

Question: title = id and panel integration = id
start URL: company.limequery.com/521647?id=157619&token=jryAdkkPz8bAwMF
end URL: company.com/complete.php?id={PASSTHRU:id }

I've also tried end URL: company.com/complete.php?idout={PASSTHRU:id }

Hi,
I also didn't get the PASSTHRU to work. Version 3.14.8+180829

But with this Panel integration setting

I just use end URL: company.com?id={title} everything is fine.

To be honest I never used "PASSTHRU" before; I always did it like this.

Best regards
Joffm

There was a bug fixed around PASSTHRU in combination with tokens.
Perhaps that introduced a new bug. But the fix is in 3.14.9. So might be currently not working at all.

Yepp, having a parameter not saved in the survey results is begging for trouble. How to debug afterwards?

I cannot get the parameter/panel integration to work at all. I've tried open/closed surveys, PASSTHRU/id={title}, I've also tried changing the parameter to title={title} just in case "id" was causing issues. Also tried various question types for the parameter question (short/long free response, eqn, text). No results...

Even when I execute any surveys that were made pre-upgrade, the question linked to the parameter does not read the parameter value.

How do I report this bug?

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to version 3.0 from 2.73.1

Is it really true that you updated to 3.0?
This was the very first version of this new branch. Now the latest release is 3.14.8.
So you should update to the latest version.

Then first try to get the panel integration to work just to prefill a short text question with the GET parameter.
If you are successful set the end url to what I recommended.

And as Jelo said: There is already a bug report about the PASSTHRU issue.
So hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Yes, you are correct I updated to version 3.14.8

I cannot get the panel integration to prefill a short text question. There must be something I'm missing.

Do you mind looking at the files I have attached?

start url: https://company/611171?newtest=Y&lang=en&title=111
end URL: https://company/complete.php?
also tried https://company/complete.php?title={title}

Please attach a small survey export (lss).

I have attached a working version. You might compare that with your survey.

Remove these quota experiment questions. Only the "title"question should remain.

CAPTCHA needs to be deactivated too. That is also preventing the capturing of the URL parameter.
I never use CAPTCHA, but that is still an old bug (that the parameters are not getting transfer)
I have opened a bugticket for that issue.
bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=14039

BTW: The variable {title} in EndURL is missing too.
