Slider functionality lost on smaller devices was created by DB1324
Hello Everyone,
I am setting up a survey which involves a number of sliders (multiple numeric input with slider functionality enabled). These are questions along the line of: on a scale of one to ten, with zero being no pain and 10 being extreme pain, how much pain are you in today?
It is anticipated that there will be a 50/50 split of participants completing the survey on their home computers, and participants using smaller devices e.g. tablets and mobile phones.
While testing the survey on a mobile phone (we later tried various models), we found that the 'slider' stops working, in that you have to tap the scale to select your score, rather than dragging the slider by sliding your finger (this scrolls the page in the direction you swipe)
I would have thought this is standard behaviour for surveys on smaller devices; that by default any 'slide' action from a finger would be to scroll a page that can't be displayed in it's entirety. However, the group I'm designing this for aren't happy because it confuses/surprises users that the slider can't be dragged
Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or even potential work-arounds (I've suggested amended question wording)? Has anyone had similar experience of using these sliders on small screens?
(I've attached a couple of images but they can't show the functionality..!)
I'm anticipating that this is 'just how it is', but wanted to ask the Lime experts before going back to the group.
Many thanks.

What is you LS version ?
Else : we can get some margin more (we have 2 col-xs12 the 2 times 15px for padding) but can make a more wide screen

I haven't experienced that issue. But I might still not getting the issue.
I would like to know what pixel dimensions the mobile device display has.
The meaning of the word "stable" for users

We are running Version 2.65.1+170522, and the template is 'Flat and Modern'.
We've tried with the following:
iPhone 5/SE (320 x 568)
Galaxy S5 (360 x 640)
Pixel 2 (411 x 731)
iPad (768 x 1024)
iPhone X (375 x 812)
Here is a very brief screen capture of the problem - it wouldn't allow me to attach an MP4 so I put it in a zip folder.
