Hi,

Is it possible to insert a form or an open answer question in the welcome page of a questionnaire?

I tried to insert a code for a form but then when I click "Next", the questionnaire do not move the the first group of questions.

I am using limesurvey 3.15.5.

Thank you!

The best way : disable welcome page and create a group with your open question …

Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member, professional service on demand , plugin development .
I don't answer to private message.

Ok. But then how can I insert in that new page the informed consent that I already have in the welcome page?
Thank you very much for your help.

You don't use LimeSurvey core system but add another question about consent .

you can't use a question for approval, it doesn't respect GDPR, since it creates an entry before the user says if he agreed to.

So you must use our system for Data policy settings (LS3), that will create exactly what you're trying to do.

Right (but),

But then : no right (and technical possibility) to use another input in welcome page :).

About GDPR : with a "no-token" survey, without register IP adress and other auto system.

You need a general approvance : you can ask a "Not user related" question before approval.

Bad example :
- It's sunny today : YES/NO
- Are you OK to answer our survey (and after we ask your location, to know where it's sunny). YES/NO

sure.
I'm just saying that if you create a question "do you agree to proceed.... ", and the user answers "no", an entry in the DB will still be created with this "no", and all the possible paradatas (like IP, date stamp, etc). So it's not respecting GDPR. "No" means "No" :)

So if user can't use our Data Policy system (because he's using LS2 for example), then he should use some JS on the welcome page rather than a real question.

Globally : Welcome page is welcome page , not «answer» page ;)
