Hide answer options in matrix based on previous answer

Hello --

I have a survey where I first ask if a person is resident in one place (this is a radio list question with several option answers). If the person replies, say, Munich (which is 'A1') then in the next question (a matrix) I want to hide several columns (not raws). Is there a way to do this?

I have managed to hide rows using the 'relevant equation' field, but the 'relevant equation' option does not appear for columns, just for rows...

Many thanks in advance for your help on this.

Cheers,
Iván.

Hi, Iván.
unfortunately you didn't tell us the LS version you are using.

You might try the plugin hideEmptyColumns; but it's not available for the LS 3.x branch.

From the homepage you can download the plugin and a sampl *.lss file.
Please import and study it carefully.

Best regards
