Electronic signature

I'd like to know if there is a way to implement an electronic signature at the end of a survey ?
Or at least allow a participant to take a photo of his signature and / or an ink pad ?
Thanks for your responses,
Alex

There is no standard or shared idea what an electronic signature might be. If your respondents are not part of an organization which has rolled out a signature tool for everyone, you cannot rely on anything.Apouxx wrote: I'd like to know if there is a way to implement an electronic signature at the end of a survey ?
The upload file question type is one working approach. If the topic of the survey involves uploading a signature, respondents can prepare a file.Apouxx wrote: Or at least allow a participant to take a photo of his signature and / or an ink pad ?

I have done a plugin for that.
www.encuesta.biz/en/producto/limesurvey-signature/
The signature is saved as a file and can be later included in custom reports.
Thanks

We can use the Android application can be used as long as it works, but when i integrated the signature question into the survey, it doesnt appear to work when i try the survey on the "Offline Surveys App for Android"... or maybe i'm using it badly ? When i export the survey as an lss file i can clearly see the Signature question in it...
I also tried the camera2.lsq without success
Thanks gabrieljenik but i'm not looking for a 100$ plugin for this purpose :lol:

Then why are you checking the Android app? You will need to buy license there too. Check www.offlinesurveys.com/ for the android app with the signature question. BTW: 100 USD seems quite reasonable for amount of implementation into the web version of LimeSurvey.Apouxx wrote: Thanks gabrieljenik but i'm not looking for a 100$ plugin for this purpose :lol:

I guess i'll look for something else for sure ! I saw nowhere i had to get a license to use those questions tho..
The problem here is that when i import the questions it works at first, because i can see them when i import the survey as an lss, but when i activate the survey to use it on the OfflineSurvey version, and I export again the survey as an .lss when activated, the questions disappeared...
I really dont understand why... maybe a pb of database correlation?

I'm not stating that. The limits of the free version can be read here:Apouxx wrote: I'm using the free version of OfflineSurveys and it's good enough for what i need to do... but if u're telling me i have to get a licence to use the "Android Multimedia Questions"...
Get a license key to upgrade your OfflineSurveys app to use these PRO features:
✔ Remove "Sync Responses" limit (20 responses)
✔ Remove "Lock Survey" & "Lock App" limit (10 responses)
If you do not hit these limits, fine.
The steps to add multimedia questions are also on that page:

- Yes, that's what I was looking at and trying to do, it works well but maybe it's PhpMyAdmin that blocks or something when i activate the survey, it blows up the signature and camera questions.
EDIT : I FOUND WHAT IT WAS ! It was the language i had to change from "en" to "fr" that is the language i use... in the signature.lsq or in the database ! It works fine now

I see the format in database but cant find where they arrive :
[{
"title":"",
"comment":"",
"size":"33.33",
"name":"name",
"filename":"filename",
"ext":"png"
}]

As for the photo upload: Those files need to be transferred from OfflineSurveys to Limesurvey by using FTP connection details, see #3 at www.offlinesurveys.com/sync-responses-automatically .
The uploaded files will later be stored at /upload/surveys/<surveyid> in a kind of encrypted format. But these files will be linked properly at the Limesurvey response overview and can be downloaded from there, see manual.limesurvey.org/Responses#Batch_editing_actions
