According this doc after survey activation it will be asked to me if I want to activate tokens switching to closed access mode. I have a 2.5 version and I don't figure out where I can find that switch...
Thanks

Thanks, but after that...? I clicked it and I created tokens for each participant, now I can send an invitation mail with a token embedded on a url but I would like to create a closed survey with a input password field where a user types his token and takes his survey.

Thanks DenisChenu, but my question is very simple.
Is it possibile to create a survey where users could access to a survey typing in a input field their token as passwords?
Yes or not? If Yes how...?
You and other users recommend to me the manual but I found only old documentation there, in the last version of LM I don't figure out how to create a password protected survey.

Hi, maxfagotto,
Click it, and you are asked to enter a password.
Now you have the general link to the survey.
In the participant table you enter your respondents and create a password/token.
You saw the screenshot in my first answer.
Do not send them the invitation (with the added token).
Just send them the general link to the survey - and the password.
1. The survey is not "publicly listed" (you select this in "Publication & Access control")
Respondents open the survey by the general link and then they have to enter the password. (As you had to do in the test)
E.g. you can provide the link on a public web page, but only people whom you sent the password to, are able to answer the survey.
2. The survey is "publicly listed" (you select this in "Publication & Access control")
By the link to the LS system ( www.myLSserver/limesurvey/index.php ") Respondents reach the page where all public surveys are listed.
After choosing the survey they want to answer, they have to enter their password.
E.g. you can enter just one participant in the participant table with the uses left set to 1000.
That means there is only one password that each particpant can use.
Well, we do not know your scenario, why you do not want to send the full link with token.
And for sure you can provide
So, please just create a test survey and try the outcome of the settings.
Regards
Joffm
well, what happens, if you click these buttons? Is it possibile to create a survey where users could access to a survey typing in a input field their token as passwords?
Yes or not? If Yes how...?
- "activate this survey"
- "save and activate survey"
- "switch to closed-access mode"
- "initialise participant table"
- "continue"
Click it, and you are asked to enter a password.

Thanks Joffm I got it now. This survey was delivered to a set of parents, we had already sent the full link with token to a set of schools, but after that it was given to students in piece of paper and brought to their parents, so for these it was very hard to type a url like that and made many errors. Now we try with a simpler url and with a password protected survey.
Thank you very much for your kindness
