based on the attachment below,
i have combining two question becoming one question, The problem here is, if the user missed to answer on 2nd answer, the mandatory warning were not appear. well I was thinking it is bacause of the script i have put inside. The script is used to combined two question become one question.

This is the 1st script:

<script type="text/javascript">

$(document).ready(function () {

$("#td_for_e_25_a_1").attr("width","30%"); //make column 1 width 30%
$("#td_for_e_25_a_1_input ul").attr("style", "list-style:none outside none"); //make checkbox into horizontal line
$("#td_for_e_25_a_1_input li").attr("style", "float:left; margin-left:10px"); //"

$("#td_after_e_25_a_1").html($("#td_for_e_25_a_1_input").html()); //copy from next question

This is the 2nd script:

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
$("#iframe1").ready(function () {

$('#answer21639X2X986, label[for="answer21639X2X986"]').hide ();
$('#answer21639X2X1016, label[for="answer21639X2X1016"]').hide ();
$('#answer21639X2X1046, label[for="answer21639X2X1046"]').hide ();
$('#answer21639X2X1066, label[for="answer21639X2X1066"]').hide ();
$('#answer21639X2X1076, label[for="answer21639X2X1076"]').hide ();

I hope i had make it clear.
