Unwriteable directories was created by ebookaffe
Hi to everyone,

I'm trying to install a the 2.05 limesurvey version (I've used for a long time a previous version without problem). But during the installation I've these two errors:

/upload directory Found & Unwritable
/tmp directory Found & writable Found & Unwritable

I've tried to change the permission on these directory (755, 775 and, in the end, also 777) but, after I've cleaned the cache of my browser, nothing seems working. Any suggest?

You need to make the directory AND their subdirectories writable to the webserver - then it should work just fine.

Hi c_schmitz,

I have tried your solution but I have the same problem. I'll try to install limesurvey on another server to see if something will change.
