How to skip the database upgrade script?

3 years 2 months ago #102986 by AdamR
I upgraded the limesurevey from 2.00+ to 2.05+ (git checkout 81b8f55bea7888d37c2490b60fa7a44727d4f78b), using git pull.

After upgrade I've made a backup of all databases.

Eventually the database got messed up somehow, and I experienced a lot of strange behaviour (too much to write about it).

Then I decided to reinstall the database and import the backup database:

git reset --hard

git pull

git checkout 81b8f55bea7888d37c2490b60fa7a44727d4f78b

Now, everytime when I turn my browser to the admin page, the "Database upgrade" script kicks in. It fails, because the database is already at the 2.05+ version.

How to get rid of this script kicking-in?

Think you can update the number in your DB:
lime_settings_global.stg_name / DBVersion to 173.

But : if this need update : it can broke some functionnality.
