Ipad bug won't submit form

my survey works perfectly on both mac and pc laptops. Everything seems OK when I try it on an ipad yet when I click "submit" it refreshes to the survey iteself - not the requested page that is shown on a proper pc- and the data is not captured. i.e. the user input is lost. Is there something specific to the ipad that I need to modify on the submit button?

the code for the submit button is this. I'm using the default bluengrey template.

<div class="survey-navigator"><input type="hidden" name="move" value="movenext" id="movenext" /> <button class="submit" type="submit" accesskey="l" onclick="javascript:document.limesurvey.move.value = 'movesubmit';"
value="Enviar" name="move2" id="movesubmitbtn" >Enviar</button>
</div>

"Enviar" is Portuguese for "Send". The audience is Brazilian. I don't think this is the problem since eveything works 100% fine on proper computers -both windos and mac.

I've also got very simple mailto forms on the site and they function properly on the ipad.

Can you test with the default template?

I copied the survey, changed to default template. It exhibited the same bevavior- form populates fields, calculations function but submit button refreshes the form page instead of posting to the db. The admin stats show 2 incomplete responses, 1 minute apart. even though I only tried it once.

To me it sounds like something limits the number of variables that can be sent on a single page.
Mabye some software you have installed on the iPad or the provider you are using?
Is it a G3 connection or WLAN?
Can you try switching the survey to question-by-question mode?

Best regards

will do. the stats show 2 submissions that posted and one more that did not. Were these all you? the first one didn't post, the second 2 did. Did you get the chance to try it on an ipad? will post back in a few once I've reworked one to question by question mode. I'm connecting to the same LAN the laptops (which work fine) use

I have tested with our iPad v1 and I can fill out the survey - no error messages - and then get redirected to faturhelp.com.br

Thanks to everyone for their help. Whatever is causing the problem seems to be on my ipad - not the survey. Good to know
