I'm trying to install the newest Limesurvey on a PHP server from the browser script. It already has a copy of an older version, so it should definitely work on it. Also, the pre-check gave ticks for all minimum requirements. Yet, after trying to add the database, I get

"Unknown database type "sqlite". An internal error occurred while the Web server was processing your request. Please contact the webmaster to report this problem.
Thank you."

The only database types I can choose are sqlite and sqlite2, both give the same error.

I already Googled, checked Installation manual and searched forums. Hopefully someone here can help =]

I am having the same issue except that my error is "Unknown database type 'odbc'". If anyone has an answer for this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Here are the details of my environment:
- SQLServer 2005
- PHP 5.3.2
- Client running Windows XP or Windows7
- Server running under Windows 2003
- Existing version of LimeSurvey = 1.80
- Upgrade version of LimeSurvey - 2.0

Check that all necessary PHP DB drivers/libraries are installed.
