I have installed limesurvey in a directory (/survey). Now I can access it like this: domain.com/survey

I want to access my limesurvey using domain.com, not domin.com/survey. Without changing the location of the limesurvey, which is domain.com/survey

could you please let me know how to do that?

Thanks

Hello,

You need a DNS and a virtualhost.

If your web directory are "/var/www" the put a virtualhost:
<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin postmaster@yourdomain
    DocumentRoot /var/www/survey
    ServerName survey.yourdomain
      <Directory /var/www/survey>
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
        AllowOverride All
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
      </Directory>
</VirtualHost>

Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member, professional service on demand (or search sondages pro).

Most ISP offer forwarding a root domain to content of a certain folder, so please ask your provider if/where you can set this.

I have kind of a related question. 1.92 and prior, the limesurvey folder location could be set in config.php, like this:

$rooturl = "http://{$_SERVER}/limesurvey

Where is this setting in Limesurvey 2.0 Yii branch? I can't seem to find it
