I set up a ranking of items from 1-9. The report gives me n9 instances labeled ranking 1-9. I don't get it. how do i make sense of this?
i attached the result. I thought the ranking graph will be just one. why 9?

Why would you expect only one graph? And what would you expect in that graph?

Each graph in the current statistics shows what items were voted how many times for that particular rank.

I agree that the ranking results are not pretty clear. What do you think about calculating a score for each item like, so if there are three items:
AUDI: 5x3, 2x2, 3x1 = 22
BMW: 1x3, 2x2, 5x1 = 12
VW: 3x3, 3x2, 2x1 = 17

Hello,

Have an idea for :
Multi numeric question type.
- Add attribute:
-- use has ranking
-- Minimum ranking

Then we can put the number of rank in the database.
Actual database for ranking are:
1st,2nd,3rd ....

Make it difficult to make some calculation.

With a Use as ranking in Multi numeric you can:
- Use a select box (1/2/3/4..) for people without javascript
- Use a sortable for people with javascript.

The min answer to rank is easy in javascript. For no javascript user, i don't search a lot.
