Hi!

I'm trying to assign a default answer value to an array dual scale (mandatory question), but I'm not able.. Is there a way?

Thank you for support!

"I'm not able" is not a very helpful note...

1. Which Limesurvey version do you use?

2. What solutions did you try before?

3. Can you post a link to an activated sample survey?

Sorry for my bad communication.
I'm using Limesurvey Version 1.91+ Build 12170

I have many questions in the paper questionnaire
with answers in dual scale and a default value needed.
So at the moment I've not implemented the survey, I would like to understand if with LS it would be possible to resolve (I'm thinking: is it the right tool for this survey?)

An example is (mandatory answers):

Which food is now different for your taste?
Meat
Cheese
Fruit

Scale 1 - Taste:
I like now, I didn't like before
I don't like now, I liked before
No variation

Scale 2 - Intensity:
+
-
No variation

For all 6 dropdown boxes I have to define 'No variation' as default value.

Thanks in advance!

There is no build in feature for this. You can use some customized Javascript to set a default answer.

And dual scale by javascript is a pity, you can't use jquery due to the # in input name ...

:(
