Keyword for identification of groupnumber

In a template I want to style each page (survey showing 1 group per page) individually. I would like to insert the following in the template:

<div class="group {GROUP_NUMBER}">

but it seems this is not the right keyword (it is not in the list, I just tried, analogous to {QUESTION_NUMBER}).

My question is: is there a keyword for the groupnumber? There are keywords for the groupname en group description ({GROUPNAME} and {GROUPDESCRIPTION})....

Thanks in advance,

Tammo

I more or less solved it with this workaround:

I gave all groups names like abcd_1, abcd_2 etc. since I do not use the group names in the survey itself.

After that I put in the template (startgroup.pstl):

<div class="group {GROUPNAME}">

But still, it would be nice to have either a {GROUP_NUMBER} available...

Hello,

I think there is a {GID} that inserts the ID of the group.

I tried and put {GID} in the startgroup.pstl, like this:

<div class="group {GID}">

But the code generated in a survey is the same, {GID} is not replaced by a group ID, while {GROUPNAME} is.

I think it would help templating a survey if it was possible to have a class per page (for the moment I prefer some kind of group code for that): like:

<body class="some-kind-of-unique-code-here-possibly-groupID">

You can add this as a feature request at our feature tracker . Please describe your idea as detailed as possible and try to outline a suitable solution/implementation as well.

Yep, maybe just a {GROUPID} replace by groupXXX, the we can have id="groupXXX" and remove the <div id="group" /> from start and endgroup.

I think it's good to have a group class like a question class: ideas.limesurvey.org/ideatorrent/idea/343/
