browse filtered answers

Hi all,

after I upgraded to the latest version, when I click "browse" after have set up filters, I see *all* the answers, not the filtered ones. With the previous version I could do that. Is this a bug or a wanted behavior?

It is not clear to me about which "Browse" button are you talking about.
I checked Statistics and there is a button called "View stats" and when I selected few answers and clicked on this button only selected answers were displayed.

Thank you for your answer. After clicking "View stats", I want to filter by answers, i.e. I only want the records that were answered "no" to the first question, so I check that option and click the button. Now, only those record are shown, but in the summary table on top of them there is a button "Browse". Before the upgrade, I was headed to the browsing of only the filtered records, with the last version all the answers are shown. Hope have been clear.

Hi, I do not use statistics much so I tried to test it and I can confirm what you have already found, Browse button does not take filtered answers into account. So if it worked in previous versions and it does not work now it will probably be a bug.

I think you should report it through bug tracker (Menu Community /Bug tracker).

giorg,

1. Which Limesurvey version do you use?

2. Which question type are you applying the filter on? Is that a question type ofering an "other" text field?

3. Please test if the problem still exists at the latest release . If so please open a ticket at the bugtracker and...
  1. Give as much information as possible
  2. Attach your survey. You can mark your ticket "private" so that only the developers will be able to take a look at it.
  3. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.
  4. If possible/helpful please provide screenshots

Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker so we can follow the progress.
