I upgraded to the newest version and now I get the same error. I have another instance of the LimeSurvey installed on the same server and it works fine. I use the default PHP Mailer and double checked all of my settings.

If it is the same server, you use the same settings and everything else is similar too, then I can't say what might be wrong.

Yeah, I just downgraded back to 1.90+ and it works (same as the other instance). Not sure what is going on.

Hello,

I have almost the same problem. I set SMTP mailing, but I had the following error.

There were no eligible emails to send. This will be because none satisfied the criteria of:


having a valid email address
not having been sent an invitation already
having already completed the survey
having a token

How can I solve the problem?

Did you create the token ?

Yes.

1. My email settings:
Default site admin email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Administrator name: Csaba Veszelszki

Email method: SMTP
SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com:465
SMTP username: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
SMTP password: *********
SMTP SSL/TLS: TLS
SMTP debug mode: Always

Email batch size: 50

2. I try to send the email from a survey to defined tokens.

3. I run the Limesurvey on webserver.

4. I switched on the debug. I have no other error. Just that I already mentioned:

Sending invitations...
(Sending to Token IDs: 1)
Warning
There were no eligible emails to send. This will be because none satisfied the criteria of:


having a valid email address
not having been sent an invitation already
having already completed the survey
having a token

1. Which Limesurvey version do you use?

2. When adding a new admin user an email is send as well. Does that work fine?

I add new user, but the email sending is not worked. I shows emails fail.

Do you host Limesurvey on a server or on your local system?

Does switching to a different email method work for you?
