Several problems after update

Good Day,

I updated with the comfortupdater from 1.91+ Build 11026 to Version 1.91+ Build 11136.

This time I recursively chmod my complete admin and classes folder to 777. (Probably not the smartest thing I could have done)

However now I notice some strange behavior of my LS installation. Conditions are no longer working. The conditions section also looks different than usual. I am no longer able to create conditions.

It seems that different parts of LS no longer running correctly.

I'm pretty nervous right now.

Question:
Is it wise to download the latest version and simply overwrite all files? Without running the installation script and/or creating a new database.

Please advice.

That's exactly what I would recommend. The installer will be called automatically if the version number changes but it won't set up a new database but update the existing one if this is necessary at all (I doubt so).

1. Yes, except config.php
2. Don't do that at the beginning if some DB update neds to be done. The installer tells you when/if you need to delete it.
3. Simply copy the old config.php back in.
4. yep :-)
