I am trying to install the latest version of Limesurvey on a Windows 2019 server and SQL Server 2016.


I have added the SQL server dll files to the extension portion of the php.ini file.


When I try and connect to the DB in the installer I get the error "Database doesn't exist!", but it does exist. I've tried looking online but I can't find anything to point me in the right direction.

Got the same message recently.
Found that I had to replace localhost by 127.0.0.1
No idea why.
Maybe you ran into the same problem?
