FTP program to connect to local LimeSurvey was created by BaranD
Hello,
I would like to connect to LimeSurvey through FTP. I am using FileZilla with the following configuration:
Host: localhost
username: ....
password: ....
port: 8080
But it is not working. I am able to reach LimeSurvey when I enter http://localhost:8080/upload/ in the browser.
What do I have to adjust?
Kind regards,
Baran

To access your local LimeSurvey installation via FTP via FileZilla you will need a running FTP-Server.
If you haven't installed and configured a FTP-server, you cannot connect to one.
The 8080 port is used by a local Webserver.

There are valid cases, which might not apply here. But only the threadstarter knows the reason.

You don't need FTP to access files on a local machine, but you might want to use FTP.DenisChenu wrote: You don't need FTP to access your localhost …
