Wrong stored data with slider was created by steve_81
Hi guys,

I have a big problem with the slider-option of multiple numeric question.
I want to use te slider option with 0.5 accuracy, but using it, it stores only the rounded value in the database (integer).

The slider works fine and displays decimal numbers, but in the database:

I updated to the recent build 151109 but have still this problem.

Can someone confirm this issue, so I can report a bug?

Works fine here, find the lss file attached.

By the way: the difference that I can see is that I used 1.0 and 7.0 as minimum/maximum values.

(LS 151109)

Hi Holch,

thanks for your effort. I imported the lss and it worked. So I wanted to add a question in my original survey and when I started it, everthing worked fine.

Maybe it was a problem of the build and deactivating and activitating the survey in the new build fixed it. Because I can reproduce it in my xampp-Version with build 150723. Whether or not adding the decimal point in the min/max the stored value is only integer.

I guess the problem is solved with updating to the newest version.

Which database is used with your LS 151109 ? I find these kind of issues disturbing. The way they occur and vanish show risks with the survey and database structure.

The version 151109 is the live-version and works now fine, I use MySQL.
The problem was repoducible since the update. Before I had a build of April 15 I guess.

I can reproduce the issue with my test-system on build 150723. It is the xampp-version out of the box with MySQL too.
