Multiple Survey Topic Organization was created by rschipull
Is there a way to organize and support more than one subject within limesurvey? I'm looking to have another level up where a user lands on the site and can select from multiple subjects. Within each subject is a list of the surveys available. For example: User lands on site and has an option to pick from 2 different sports (swimming and running). Once the user selects swimming, they are presented with 8 different surveys related to swimming. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, all of the surveys related to swimming and running are managed in the same admin area.
thanks,
rob

I think you would have to create this interface yourself. Limesurvey has the survey list, but it lists all available surveys.
What you could think of is creating a survey that asks in the first question for the sport, then in the next question offers the surveys for this sport. The person clicks on the survey and you create a zero quota (means the survey would be closed) once the sport and then the survey for this sport was chosen. In this quota you can define a end url the person is directed to, which would then be the URL of the respective survey.

Holch,
Interesting idea. I'll have to play around with it a bit to see if this is something that will work for what we are trying to do.

Tammo,
I was initially thinking of doing something similar to what you did with setting up a separate front-end. Were you able to have all of the back-end surveys in the same area, or did you have to separate that out as well?
thanks,
rob
