Hi,

has anyone been able to use a HTML5 audio player in a survey with fallback to flash?
I would need it to include a playlist.

I have managed to use the standalone word press audio player (flash) in my surveys but it obviously doesn't work on apple devices.

Any help would be apprecicated.

I am using limesurvey version 2.00

Any Jquery plugin can be used for this purpose.

Try : jplayer.org/latest/demos/ for example

Thanks for the link

I have found at the following an example template and survey using Jplayer:

Jplayer

However I can't work out how to create playlists for each player or where exactly the code would need to be.

Could anyone advise?

You just add song in it by choosing. You may goto playlist button and select the song or video whatever you want to listen. It's so easy to add multiple in playlist.

yes I understand you can create a list of audio tags but that's not very compact on the survey page.
I've found a way to sort it now by using an edited version of the WP Audio Player.

github.com/jedfoster/html5-WP-audio-player

Works on Puffin Browser on iPad too, can create a playlist by using the following page and script:

wpaudioplayer.com/standalone/

<script type="text/javascript">
AudioPlayer.embed("audioplayer_1", {
soundFile: " yoursite.com/path/to/mp3_file_1.mp3,http...th/to/mp3_file_2.mp3 ",
titles: "Title 1,Title 2",
artists: "Artist name 1,Artist name 2"
});
</script>
