Add your ideas to my feature post from last year.
www.limesurvey.org/en/forum/future-featu...rogress-bar-settings

But don't expect such features to be added in the next years.

Was the content of ideas.limesurvey.org transferred into the feature section of the bug tracker?

I suggested the "Future Feature" section of this board to get as much exposure as possible.
Without user participation most features requests will be never implemented.
And even though mantis now allows "Issue Community Support" the forums here will always be more used, searched and found. And since I added my first feature requests in 2009 into mantis I know what traction to expect there.

Take e.g my feature request from 2010 about SSL enforcement on login without enforcing it on the survey taking part.
bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=7405

The Issue Community Support shows me:
Supporters: 	DenisChenu
Opponents: 	user1, tringate, jjmartinez

No Text was added for the reason why they opposed that idea. No discussion. No insight.
Other examples: bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=7404 / bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=7407

Hi,

:)

Please: put a bug report on this / Category : "LimeSurvey" website / Assign it to "Carsten/c_scmitz" and put Mazi on "monitoring".

And remind : LimeSurvey core (and LS.org website) is made on our free time : we don't receive any money to work on LS core.

Hi there,

mmm... try implement your self, I do it.
You have {NUMBEROFQUESTIONS} and {QUESTION_NUMBER}

percent_value = (100/{NUMBEROFQUESTIONS})*{QUESTION_NUMBER}

isn't it?

kindest regards
Emiliano

Where are these variables documented?
Would be interesting to get the current position in a survey from the template or group (e.g. first question in group).

{QUESTION_NUMBER} is not available outside a question (which is logical). To implement a individual progressbar I would have to put code into every question.

A template only approach would be nice. Or is a plugin possible?
