Dear all,

I am trying to program a dashboard where a third party can see the progress of several participants by using their tokens inside a custom codeigniter app.

I have created a closed survey with the ability of the participants to edit their answers using token based persistence.

I am thinking on using the surveyid and the tokenid to query each survey for the number of NULL values on each question column. However i believe that the more surveys we add in the dashboard the performance will become slower and slower. Is there a more efficient for accomplishing this ?

Maybe use some DB caching ?

Or update another DB with cron script ?

Or ....

etc ...
