Hi,
I am creating a survey and there is this 1 question that provides 3 options

1.Yes
2.No
3.Not aware

and I have used question type(list), but my problem is that, this question needs to allow the user to type in something ONLY when they chose "Yes". because the question requires them to specify/explain when they chose "Yes" selection.

please help me,its very urgent

Well, you need to create a second question which is in text format. Then on this second question you apply the condition to show it only, when the answer to question 1 is "Yes".

Have a look at the manual! It is a really valuable source for information. Here some helpful links:

Alternatively, you can use the question's "other" option and name the entry "yes".

This option will always be listed at the end, so simply add these two options manually: "not aware", "no" and enable the other option with a different text ( docs.limesurvey.org/Advanced+question+se...y#other_replace_text )

- not aware
- no
- yes: |___________________|
