we are running LimeSurvey Version 1.90+ Build 9321 and are in the middle of a complex survey with approx. 500+ participants. LimeSurvey has worked great for us (many thanks!) so far.
However, we have started analyzing the finished surveys with our own Python code and found two cases with surveys marked as complete where mandatory questions did not have a corresponding answer in the MySQL database: affected is the same block of ten questions, each consisting of two multiple-choice parts and in the problem cases all varchar(5) fields are empty (they contain the indices of the corresponding menus otherwise).
In all other cases, our tool gave plausible results (so does phpMyAdmin) so we think it is not a problem in our code but something strange with these two particants. Is this a known problem? In our tests we did not find a way to continue with a survey without answering all mandatory questions - is it possible that in these two cases the particants got around answering this block of mandatory questions?
This is, obviously, somewhat unsettling and we need to understand this behaviour.
Many thanks in advance!
