I get the same error but I don't know what the Technical administrative panel is to check the sql syntax error.

Is "file upload" working?

No one is bothered to answer this simple question but the "Donate" button is on the very first page...maybe we have to wait for the next GSOC...

ikaros,

Sorry about the delay. I've been a little busy off late and haven't been able to take a look at the issue. I'll look into it later tonight and update/fix the same.

ikaros,

Do you have the latest codebase?
The File Upload is working just fine on my installation. If it isn't working on your system, could you please give me some more details. And if possible, could you also attach a sample survey that has the problem?

Thanks,
texens

After having ported all the Limesurvey code to the MVC framework Yii for Limesurvey 2, there had been some issues with the file upload question type at the first Limesurvey 2 releases.
All these problems should be fixed at the newer releases, so please update if you are having problems.

If there are still issues at the latest release, please file a bug report at our Bugtracker.
Thanks!

There should be no "issue" with the latest Limesurvey 2.0 version and the file upload question type.

If you are still running into problems, please describe the issue in detail and attach a test survey.
Thanks!

Hi Mazi,

I set a file upload question and set the min to 1 and max to 5 and allowed pdf. However, after I browsed to the file and select upload, the files weren't actually recorded. I tried to replicate this on both LimeSurvey server and on my personal server. (I am using chrome)

Thank you.

Hmmm...I think it is because of Chrome. Can you please test that on Chrome.

I can NOT reproduce the problem on Chrome using the Limesurvey Demo system. Did you activate your survey?

Here is a link to my test survey (which will be deleted soon): Demo.limesurvey.org/index.php/survey/ind...89/newtest/Y/lang/en

Hi Mazi,

It seems to be fine with your above link. Could it be template related?

Thsnk you.

If it works fine with the default template and it does NOT work with your customized template, then the answer is "yes" :-)
