I created a Question Multiple Short Text.
I used the answering options with IF, ({if(DMUkwaliteit_SQ001==1,DMUnaam_SQ001_SQ001,'')}
I need this question for filtering on quality==1, so I use this question for further use

I works fine, as long as the question is NOT hidden.
If I hide the question, all answers are prefilled.

Thus, the outcome differs solely on the fact whether the question is hidden or not.

How do you hide the question? With the "hide always" option on the advanced settings? if you use that, it is as if the question would have never been created. You need to hide the question via CSS or Javascript, so that it is there in the source code, but doesn't show to the respondent.

holch,
indeed with the hide always option on the advanced settings.
Do you have an example of CSS or Javascript, because I never used that before,
that would be really helpful,

Set up your survey to use JavaScript and add this to the source of the question:

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
	$(document).ready(function() {
		$('#question{QID}').hide();
	});
</script>
