Probably the following is a bug, in that case i will report it.
I have the following extremely simple test csv file
firstname lastname email
a a email@example.com
b b firstname.lastname@example.org
a c email@example.com
When i import this file into the token list, the email status and the language settings are not set. Because email setting is not OK, no mails can be sent.
I have limesurvey Version 2.05+ Build 140414 and Version 2.05+ Build 140320
This only happens in the latest version.
A workaround is to add a column "emailstatus" with the value "OK" to the csv file
