Token based persistence survey does not complete ?

Hello,

First I wanted to say I'm very happy with LimeSurvey - I've used it for several public surveys over the past 3 years. I'm going to make another donation this week. Thanks to those who created it.

I have
LimeSurvey Version 2.05+ Build 140320.
Closed, token-based survey:
Allow multiple responses or update responses with one token? Yes
Enable token-based response persistence? Yes
Allow public registration? Yes

Everything works as expected. As per the Workaround
"Offer option to change answers later" I have implemented the final boilerplate message.

Upon submitting a survey,

The survey appears to close on the final submit button.
- I get the end message
- the token table complete date is set
- the icon to send a reminder is removed
- the #uses is decremented

But I can still access the survey using the original URL. It sends me to the final page (last one submitted; understood). Each time I access the survey again, the token uses count decrements further negatively.

Is there a way I am missing to disable further access after a user has submitted the survey? Is this behaviour by design, or a defect?

Thanks.

With : "Allow multiple responses or update responses with one token? Yes", you ASK this behaviour. Then set it to NO.

Perhaps that manual section manual.limesurvey.org/Creating_a_new_survey#Tokens
Allow multiple responses or update responses with one token?
and
Enable token-based response persistence

could be stated more clearly then? Thanks.

Reading:

If you activate this setting the participants may return to his survey by clicking the invitation link, even if he already submitted the survey.

Seems clear.

But feel free to update and be more clear.
